Purposed Living—So many of us are on this quest to find our ‘calling’ or valid reason for being here.

At least, the majority of my circle is very involved in inner healing, outward peace, and the clear message of a higher calling. But what is purposed living, and what place does it have in the normalcy of our lives and our day-to-day routines?

As I continue with my struggles with determining my destined path and purposed living, I have to stop and wonder if the actual meaning of the existence of purposed life is the measure by which you make a person’s day a little brighter, and change this world we live in one moment, one smile, one kind gesture, one day at a time.

Trusting God completely means having faith that He knows what is best for your life. You expect Him to keep His promises, help you with problems, and do the impossible when necessary.

“If not to God, you will surrender to the opinions or expectations of others, to money, to resentment, to fear, or to your own pride, lusts, or ego. You were designed to worship God and if you fail to worship Him, you will create other things (idols) to give your life to. You are free to choose, what you surrender to but you are not free from the consequence of that choice.” ― Rick Warren, The Purpose Driven Life: What on Earth Am I Here for?
