We love highlighting the arts, dreams, and pursuits of the young people in our community. They are our tomorrow, they are our future, and they are paying attention to everything we say and do. In this age of social media, it is important to let our children know how proud we are of them, and how our investment in them and their talents/gifts are so they can make the impact upon tomorrow’s world with the tools we give them today. Cheers to our CHILDREN!
ISAIAH FLYNN – Aspiring Performer
Isaiah Flynn is an aspiring actor, singer, comedian and all around performer. At the young age of 9, Isaiah enjoys time spent with his family, including his best friend and brother, Joshua. Isaiah was born in Freeport, New York and is in the 4th grade. In his spare time, he is usually on weekend getaways with the family or home studying for school and/or perfecting his many art crafts (specifically music and acting). Being raised by a father (Anthony Flynn – stage name VanGucci), a known funny man, it is no surprise that he follows in his father’s footsteps with always making sure the crowd is entertained and laughing. To say this young man is not ready for stardom is an understatement, Isaiah is already trying to start 2 companies and has been hand-picked to be the only student from his school to join the Young People’s Choir of NYC. Being a part of the Young People’s Choir of NYC has allowed him to opportunity to sing behind the likes of gospel greats such as Bebe Winans, Hezekiah Walker, Dorinda Clark-Cole, as well as performing live at New York’s famous Lincoln Center. Anyone looking for a shining new star who at such a young age can bring it…Isaiah Flynn is your guy.
ARIANNA TAITT – Aspiring Dancer
Arianna Taitt, is a young, beautiful, talented, aspiring dancer, and performer. Arianna has accomplished a lot at the young age of 11. Where many aspire to reach their dreams by a certain age, Arianna has met some of hers. Arianna, born in Queens, New York, is 11 years old and in the 6th grade. Arianna, as an aspiring dancer/ballerina, has had the great opportunity to meet with Misty Copeland (the first African-American Principle Dancer with the prestigious American Ballet Theatre) and famed Carol Jenkins, along with having the opportunity to dance with the Dance Theatre of Harlem. Arianna has also starred in several plays and also dances with her church dance group. It has been said that “As long as she has an open space, she is doing flips, splits and so much more.” When Arianna is not dancing, she enjoys family time, as well as gymnastics, crocheting and art. Let’s not forget, this young lady is also maintaining an honor roll average. Arianna gives thanks to the Lord for her daily blessings and truly appreciates her family for their love and support.
We can definitely look forward to hearing more about Isaiah and Arianna in the future.
