As a small business owner, you know that the time-consuming work comes with the territory. Your duties include everything from managing finances to answering emails and social media posts to looking over your marketing materials. One of the most considerable time drains is content creation. By outsourcing your content creation, you could be saving hours of work without sacrificing the quality.

There are four specific content types that are easier and cheaper to produce.

    1. Blog Posts
Blog posts don’t have to be exhaustive essays. You can publish posts with just a few hundred words. However, if you want to be viewed as an expert, you need to think of value rather than word count. People don’t want to read long articles, but people will read every word of it if they are truly valuable.

If you want to get your blog posts noticed and shared, you should try to keep things original and avoid rehashing the same ideas repeatedly. Posting informative and enjoyable content will attract more readers, and therefore more social media shares for your site.

    2. Infographics
Nowadays, infographics are popular. Outsourcing the making of an infographic will set you back a few hundred dollars. However, infographics are link magnets – people frequently share the content, so your expenses will be worth it when you get to rank high up on Google. Higher quality infographics will help you with online searches and people who are more willing to share them on social media.

    3. How-To Tutorials
Creating tutorials is another great way to create content. Your tutorials can be in a blog post, video, or infographic. Teaching people new skills is valuable, as there will always be people begging to know the knowledge you share. To avoid making a how-to topic that isn’t in high demand, do some research first and see if enough people need your particular solution.

    4. Videos
Video is not going to change so much anytime soon. The latest camera features of smartphones allow people to move away from classic cameras and film with their phones. Social Media makes it so easy to share your content. Consider videos over text. The use of videos to captivate an audience can be far more gripping than any simple sentence.
