Natural citrine can also be found in the Ural Mountains of Russia, in Dauphine, France, and Madagascar.

The yellow and orange colors of the citrine gemstone were said to offer security from vulnerabilities when traveling, to ward off evil, and to prevent sickness on land or sea.
Throughout history, citrine has been used widely in enhancing the use of the body’s organs, including the heart, liver, kidneys, and digestive system. Healing practitioners still use it to eliminate toxins from the body, manage muscular dysfunctions, and further incite healing in general.
