Acne usually hitting the skin status of teenagers and young adults. The condition of acne is difficult to determine. However, the issue of the sebaceous glands is shown to as the basis of most acne breaks.

Pilosebaceous units are the union of the hair follicles and oil glands in the skin. Except for the outside of the palms and the soles of the feet, pilosebaceous units are found on the skin tissue everywhere in the body. This is because they are liable for secreting the oily element called sebum. However, due to various circumstances (e.g., hormonal imbalances, stress, lifestyle, and the skin’s natural condition), the oil glands may be caused to generate more sebum than average. When this appears, the excess oil fills the skin pores. This process produces bacterial contamination and excites the response of the immune system. In the end, acne infection happens.

Acne can strike any skin type. An oily skin type is most sensitive to acne. On the other hand, dry skin may not be as simple, but serious breaks may happen through winter. Normal skin is evenly exposed to acne, but the level of hardness may not be as huge.

Acne is not yet wholly curable but can be treated with some acne skincare routines. Many ask for the help of topical medications, which are applied on the surface of the skin. However, employing acne skin care products like “pore strip pads” may remove whiteheads and blackheads, but they would not affect the excess sebum.

Nevertheless, for treatment and prevention, it is best to apply the following simple tips:

    1. A healthy, well-balanced diet must be followed. Therefore, your food consumption must include all the essential nutrients the body demands for practical work.

    2. Drink lots of liquids like water, juices. Reduce the consumption of carbonated beverages.

    3. Wash your face with mild soap and water. Again, the reasoning is not to eliminate the dirt (as most acne-inflicted people see) but to stop the clogs on the skin pores, which may be a compound of dead skin cells, bacteria, and solidified sebum. Although dirt is not the problem of acne, it may add to more germs through its cooperation with skin debris and bits and extra oil in the skin.

    4. Use nominal cleansing pads that may comprise one or the mixture of the following: salicylic acid, sulfur, and benzoyl peroxide to eliminate excess oil. Another way to reduce extra fat in the skin is to cleanse the face with warm water.

    5. Lessen the use of harmful cleaners and use acne skincare items that shed gently. Do not rub forcefully to the affected areas.

    6. If your hands are dirty, avoid touching your face.

Preventative acne skincare steps are just as necessary as the treatment of acne itself. With prevention, you know how to ensure that your acne problem does not escalate and spread to a more extensive infected area.
