You can decide not to love someone and even go as far as to say that you hate them, but you still find yourself loving them because you are built to love and empowered.
Consider this; we are driven to love from our Spirit… we decide to trust from our soul… We surrender our ‘will’ because of our flesh. We are a three part being; we are a spirit (spiritual beings), we have a soul (mind, will & emotions) and we live in a body (skin, blood and bones).
The body is commonly called the Flesh, but the Flesh is a combination of your intellect and your body(ability to think, feel, react and make decisions). When what crosses your mind, gets a response from your body, that’s your flesh at its best. (Now don’t act like you don’t know what I’m talking about.)
Remember when your skin would release chill-bumps when you would think about that special somebody,or even at the mention of their name? Your skin responded to what your mind registered, thus a “flesh reaction”. That is where a man’s erection comes from, 100% flesh. Flesh, in its improper place, can be a dangerous thing.
One great writer said, “There’s no good thing in this flesh”.
What the writer was expressing was that, if not put in its proper perspective, the combination of the mind and the body (your false identity), without the guidance of the Spirit (your True Identity), you set yourself up for bad decisions.
This is why it is imperative that you realize that you are built to love and empowered to give, but you don’t come cheap!
Make the appropriate changes to discover your True Identity and begin to fulfill your True Destiny. We determine our true value and make sound decisions when we know who we are.
President Barack Obama said, “Change will not come if we wait for some other person or some other time. We are the ones we’ve been waiting for. We are the change that we seek.” Don’t wait for things to change in your life. You are a “Change Agent”, Make Change! You are built to Love and Empowered to Give.
