Woman Evolve 24: A Surrender Weekend to Remember

Sarah Jakes Roberts, daughter of renowned pastor, speaker and businessman Bishop T.D. Jakes, is truly taking her calling to serve women to another level while making a wave of her own in the same space. Since her father retired the national acclaimed “Woman Thou Art Loosed” brand and passed the torch to her in 2022, she has taken the charge to push Gods daughters of all ages to greater heights and deeper depths with Woman Evolve. Woman Evolve started as an intimate gathering of Sarah Jakes Roberts followers and supporters, to now a highly anticipated event that sells out within minutes of announcing the new location the day of!!! This year, Woman Evolve 24 took place in Arlington, TX, a city right outside of Dallas, at the home of the MLB National Champs Texas Rangers stadium!! Women from 40 countries have traveled to Global Life Field from as far as Australia to experience God and receive healing, instructions, and strength for their next!!!!!
How Pastor Sarah knows what each woman needs when we need it and how we need it, and be on target without a conversation, is a mystery! Total strangers, from all walks of life and ages, come together and leave as best friends, forming a sisterhood. The theme for this year was “Surrender” and every detail was carefully and masterfully put together to curate an unforgettable experience and safe space to do just that.
Day one, was electric and full of anticipation as over 40,000 women filled the stadium anxious to see what God had in store for us. Pastor Sarah greeted us with a warm welcome that quickly turned into holy ghost fire and set us a blaze with powerful prophetic declarations to set the tone for the rest of the weekend.
Each day was filled with powerful speakers and empowering panels. Speakers such as Priscilla Shirer, Pastor Sheryl Brady along with Pastor Sarah Jakes Roberts herself were all amazing, but it was the Group Therapy Session with Dr. Anita Phillips that took us to a place that we had no clue we needed. “Mother Wounds” was the title of her message as she shared how the relationships with our mothers have affected us as women in ways we had not realized to address. There was not a dry eye in the place as we not only forgave our mothers and released them but also forgave ourselves as mothers who have hurt our children I ways we were not aware as well. I literally felt pounds lighter as the weight of unaddressed hurts from my mother was surrendered. The marriage panel was full of wisdom nuggets as a young wife shared how important it is for wives to understand that husbands need healing too and belong to God just as much as we do!! Every woman married and single had to pause and chew on that for a minute. But the Pajama Panel never disappoints!! This year, First Lady Serita Jakes was not able to attend, but we still had diversity and wisdom on the panel as Sarah Jakes Roberts shared intimate conversations with her girlfriends about food and friendships, because that’s truly what gets all women hung up these days. The vulnerability and healing that takes place as we laugh and cry always sets the tone for the Friday night praise and worship session!!
In conclusion, Woman Evolve 24 we surrendered our finances, our emotions, our mindsets, our will for HIS destiny and purpose. Each woman left Arlington, TX renewed and refreshed to finish 2024 strong. Woman Evolve 25 was announced and will be in Atlanta July 31 thru August 2,2025 at State Farm Arena and is sure to be another life changing weekend!! We can’t wait to meet you there!!!
