It is so amazing to me; this thing called LOVE… LOVE so powerful and igniting.. so warming yet so volatile. Why the volatility??? Because of its force and power, of course.
I am learning that slight hesitation as it pertains to matters of the heart is not necessarily such a bad thing… however, anything done to the extreme can never be a good thing in one way or the other.
I have historically loved WAY TOO MUCH and WAY TOO HARD and historically the WAY WRONG PEOPLE (LOL). That goes for girlfriends and boyfriends because, as a friend, I LOVE just as hard.
Today I am leaving as my status on FACEBOOK three very MIND-BLOWING sentiments of 3 of my ‘brothers’ who are ALL THAT and so I’m sharing their heartfelt sincerity about relationships which they’ve shared with me. I so LOVE the MEN GOD puts in my life. Listen up.
Brother #1:
“SO TRUE STEF….WE ARE CREATURES WHO SUFFER IN SILENCE!…. REAL RAP. HEY, THAT’S LIFE AND I UNDERSTAND THE PROCESS…I WAS A SILENT SUFFER…BUT I HAD TRUST ISSUES…AND MAN TRUST NO ONE, NOT EVEN GOD.”
Brother #2:
“Doesn’t seem to be very much true love out there these days. The essence of true love is un-selfishness,s, and your joy in doing what makes your partner happy. Both partners should be light a lighthouse waiting to guide and comfort the other one who might be sailing in a sea of trouble. I just find that people don’t seem to give very much of themselves to anything anymore, let alone love and companionship.”
Brother #3:
“Most of us can read the writing on the wall; we just assume it’s addressed to someone else. He might be scared to open and read the writing on the wall because he knows he can’t be coming half stepping. Relationships are for people who want to share: who they are, what they have, and what they have to offer. People look at them in the efforts of partnering with someone out of companionship, joy, and building. Only then should a person ever really express interest in another person wanting to focus on them.”
Whenever I doubt the POWER or measure of LOVE and what men are “feeling,” I shall surely continue to re-read these sentiments as a healthy reminder of the beauty that is waiting to be captured… the beauty of men and women winning the hearts of each other.
I will never leave the intended nor natural state of why I was created, no matter how twisted it becomes. God created us from His love to be love and loving, and I shall make sure that thru even the most difficult of times, I shall STOP TO LOVE and CONTINUE TO LIVE healthy in THAT VIBRATION. As far as I’m concerned, what better vibration is there to live in??
